Why is Fortnite STW such a mess compared to BR? ResetEra

Jan 17, 2018Not exactly. STW is still a free to play GaaS game, it's just an early access fee for the time being. And that fee certainly doesn't make it play or feel like a non-F2P game. It's weirdly backwards. The STW portion feels F2P in its design despite only being accessible through a purchase for now, you have timers and loot boxes and all that.
